Provides technical and quotation support for Power Systems Studies projects. Reviews project requirements, assists with scope validation, develops estimates, and supports Change Order (CO) requests. Delivers accurate and timely work while escalating complex or non-standard requirements as needed.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Prepare and review quote configurations, estimates, and supporting documentation for Power Systems Studies opportunities.
- →Review project requirements and study specifications to validate scope, pricing, assumptions, and deliverables.
- →Support Change Order (CO) quotation activities, engineering research, and scope validation efforts for the Power Systems Engineering (PSE) team.
- →Identify incomplete, conflicting, or non-standard requirements and escalate concerns to senior team members as appropriate.
- →Maintain accurate records of assigned requests and provide timely status updates using established tracking tools.
- →Collaborate with ERS/HVM Sales, the Bid Center, PSE, and other internal stakeholders to support project and customer requirements.
- →Assist in maintaining team documentation, technical references, standards, and process materials.
- →Participate in training, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives to support team effectiveness and service quality.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in quotation development, bid support, technical sales support, estimating, or related engineering functions preferred.
- Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts; prior power systems experience is not required.
- Willingness and ability to learn power systems fundamentals, quotation processes, and applicable engineering tools through structured training.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
