Commodity Manager Shape the Future of Global Procurement
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Commodity Manager to lead sourcing activities and drive procurement excellence across assigned commodity categories. In this key role, you will develop and execute global commodity strategies, build strong supplier partnerships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global commodity strategies for assigned categories.
- Build, manage, and strengthen strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery performance, and cost efficiency.
- Analyze supply markets, industry trends, and supplier capabilities to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead price, contract, and commercial negotiations with domestic and international suppliers.
- Drive cost management initiatives and deliver annual savings targets.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and implement improvement plans where needed.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance teams on product changes, innovation projects, and supply chain improvements.
- Lead value engineering, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while developing contingency plans.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and internal procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience developing sourcing strategies and conducting complex supplier negotiations.
- Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional projects in a global environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
