An Equipment Installer I is responsible for quality installation of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments as specified in engineering instructions and drawings and in accordance with customer standards. This is a field-based position, requiring regional and occasional national travel.

Responsibilities

→Install equipment in Data Center/Construction environments
→On-site analysis of job drawings, specifications and MOPs
→Ensure quality installations by conforming to all applicable standards
→Perform all work with safety as the top priority. This includes following all company and customer mandated procedures as well as utilizing the proper PPE for the task at hand
→Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service
→Use computer for Data Entry/Administrative tasks
→Ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screening

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills
Basic computer skills to include MS Office or equivalent
Basic knowledge and skills with hand tools

OSHA10 required, OSHA30 preferred
Fall protection preferred
Manlift/Forklift certification preferred

Medium Lifting (30 Ibs. – 45 Ibs.)
Heavy Lifting (over 50 Ibs.)
Frequent Standing
Frequent kneeling / crawling / stooping
Frequent bending / twisting
Frequent climbing (stairs, ladders)
Frequent driving (car, van, truck
Noise Level (Medium / High need to shout to be heard)
Working around moving machinery (fork-lifts, tractors)
Protective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, respirator, mask, etc.)
