Procurement Specialist EMEA

The Procurement Specialist EMEA supports the EMEA Procurement organization in managing intercompany pricing, supplier data integrity, and procurement operational activities across all Business Units (BUs) in the EMEA region. The role ensures accuracy of pricing records, price lists, cross-references, and system readiness in procurement tools (ERP, pricing platforms). Additionally, the specialist supports commodity management activities including RFQ coordination, supplier communication, and procurement analytics as required by business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as primary coordinator between EMEA and Vertiv entities for intercompany pricing requests
• Maintain and update intercompany price lists and cross-references for all purchase parts across the EMEA region
• Ensure accuracy of intercompany pricing records in ERP and procurement tools
• Manage Vertiv entity vs. EMEA cross-references for Part Number handling
• Ensure intercompany supplier records are created and active for all relevant EMEA sites
• Coordinate standard cost roll-up activities with Finance, Operations, and Vertiv entities

• Support RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes — preparation, distribution to suppliers, follow-up, and response consolidation
• Assist Commodity Managers with supplier communication, pricing negotiations support, and cost confirmations
• Maintain procurement documentation, archiving, and reporting
• Support supplier setup, system configuration, and master data management activities
• Contribute to procurement analytics and reporting as required
• Assist with process improvement initiatives within the procurement function
• Perform additional procurement-related tasks as assigned by the team or management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor's degree with economic or technical focus (Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field)
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in procurement, pricing, supply chain operations, or finance; experience in an international/EMEA environment preferred
• Languages: English – fluent (additional European language is a plus)
• PC skills: Advanced MS Excel; MS Office suite; ERP system experience (Oracle preferred); procurement/pricing tools; SharePoint

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams and locations
• Problem-solving orientation with ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs

The anticipated salary range for this role Slovakia is between 18 645€ to 23 300€ gross per and reflects the range applicable in that jurisdiction. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits.
