The Product Manager – Thermal is responsible for providing offering management leadership to drive growth and profitability of Veritiv’s Large Thermal Management offerings as well as those offering regionally in the Americas. The Offering Manager will work with the Sr. Manager and offering management team to define new Thermal offerings and maintain existing Thermal offerings.
The Product Manager will lead the strategy and offers for Large Thermal Offerings, especially those offered only with the Americas region. The Offering Manager will focus on new Offerings for Core/Enterprise applications, as well as identifying and driving VAVE programs for the Americas Region. The Offering Manager will work across the organization with key customers, sales teams, and regional stake holders. The Offering Manager will identify and quantify the market applications and opportunities, develop roadmaps, and work with cross functional teams to execute the roadmap through New Product Development Stage Gate process.
Responsibilities

- →Develop and maintain business cases through ideation, development, and launch.
- →Drive product line profitability through VAVE/Cost reduction efforts
- →Identify, evaluate, and drive additional revenue opportunities through product extensions.
- →Research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- →Ensure all customer facing offering documentation and marketing collateral is available and accurate.
- →Provide offering information to Customers, Sales, Customer Service and Application Engineering.
- →Prepare and deliver presentations, product demos, and other sales enablement tools.
- →Develop and track metrics to measure post-launch sales performance of new offerings.
- →Manage product line profitability and volume forecasts.
- →Manage list pricing and discounts, research competitive pricing and develop strategy
- →Assist in championing resolution of offering issues (i.e., delivery, quality, inventory)
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical degree. Business experience preferred.
- 7+ years technical, product/service management, strategic planning, marketing or directly related experience.
- Experience with Thermal Management systems used in Data Center applications preferred
- Ability to quickly develop cross-functional and cross-regional relationships to achieve business objectives
- Demonstrated competence in problem solving, data analysis, & project management
- Process and results oriented with proven ability to accomplish goals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications
