We are looking for individuals who are not only passionate about our mission but also comfortable and confident using cutting-edge technologies and AI tools, to streamline processes, drive innovation, and contribute to the growth of Vestd.

We are hiring an experienced Equity Consultant to grow new business with UK companies employing 51-200 people. You will create and convert opportunities, own consultative sales from discovery to close, and build credibility with CFOs and senior People leaders. We value proactive prospecting, strong judgement and pipeline discipline, without expecting you to generate every meeting yourself.

In your first 90 days, you will learn Vestd's proposition and the employee equity landscape, establish strong consultative discovery and pipeline habits, build effective working relationships and progress early opportunities. Over the year, we will assess Closed Won ARR, qualified-deal conversion, average deal value, pipeline progression and contributions from reactivation, referrals and self-generated opportunities.

  • Own opportunities from discovery and commercial development through to Closed Won, converting proactively generated business as well as relevant inbound interest.
  • Uncover customer problems, quantify their commercial significance, establish urgency and position Vestd accurately against alternatives.
  • Build trust with Heads of People, CFOs and other senior stakeholders; identify champions, buying processes and appropriate next steps.
  • Develop opportunities through referrals, re-engagement of previously lost prospects, networking and selective self-prospecting.
  • Maintain clear pipeline ownership, prioritise opportunities effectively and use commercial data to improve results and forecast quality.

We cannot provide an exhaustive list of duties; additional duties may arise, but these will be core elements of this role:

  • Proven ownership of quota-carrying B2B new business sales, including personally closing opportunities generated or developed through proactive engagement.
  • Strong consultative discovery and commercial judgement, able to develop buyer interest where there is not yet an active purchasing project.
  • Credible engagement with senior Finance and People stakeholders, including identifying champions and navigating multi-stakeholder decisions.
  • Proactive pipeline management and disciplined follow-through, with demonstrable individual contribution and commercial results.
  • An analytical approach to sales decisions, able to explain target attainment, conversion, deal value and the reasons deals are won or lost.
  • Ability to learn complex information, acknowledge knowledge gaps, act with honesty and apply coaching to improve quickly.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You must be comfortable with working in a remote-first environment

A typical selection process might be:

  • Apply online
  • 20-minute screening call
  • 45-minute interview with the hiring manager and team member
  • Task-based assignment
  • 45-minute team cultural interview
  • 30-minute interview with the CEO

Please note that we record our interviews. These recordings are only viewed by the hiring team and no later than once a role is filled, all recordings are deleted. We do not share any candidate information with anyone outside of Vestd at any time.

We are excited to receive your application.

When a role is filled, we will contact all other applicants to let them know.
