Outreach Director

Purpose of the Job: 

The Outreach Director provides leadership,
influence,
and oversight for Victory Church’s Outreach Department through the lanes of Global, Regional, and Local Outreach. This role exists to discover, build, and maintain healthy Outreach partnerships with the goal of creating meaningful pathways for tribe members to engage in the Great Commission through Outreach opportunities that meet practical needs and share the Gospel. 

Experience and Knowledge Required: 

• Experience serving in or leading outreach, missions, ministry, nonprofit, or community partnership work. 

• Ability to build and maintain healthy relationships with ministry partners, nonprofit organizations, churches, community leaders, staff, and volunteers. 

• Ability to discern partner needs and coordinate appropriate support through volunteers, resources, communication, prayer, and follow-through. 

• Strong project management skills, including planning events, managing timelines, coordinating details, and following through on next steps. 

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff, volunteers, outreach partners, and location leaders at various skill levels. 

• Comfortable working across multiple locations, ministry contexts, and outreach environments. 

• Teachable spirit, strong work ethic, effective time management, and commitment to excellence. 

• Self-starter and willingness to work hard to make improvements and adjustments. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Planning Center, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. 

• High school diploma required; ministry, nonprofit, leadership, or related experience preferred. 

• Actively committed to a local church body and aligned with the mission, vision, and values of Victory Church. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

• Resource, equip, influence,
  and support Victory Church locations so they can serve local outreach partners with consistency, excellence, and care. 

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current local, regional, and global outreach partners, ensuring ongoing communication, encouragement, and alignment with Victory Church’s mission, vision, and values. 

• Identify, evaluate, and cultivate new outreach partnerships and ministry opportunities that help Victory Church meet practical needs and share the Gospel locally, regionally, and globally. 

• Use discernment and care to understand the needs of outreach partners and coordinate appropriate support through volunteers, resources, prayer, financial partnership, or special projects. 

• Create and develop new pathways for Victory Church tribe members to engage in outreach through serving opportunities, events, mission trips, partner support, and ongoing discipleship. 

• Maintain and manage the outreach calendar, including local serving opportunities, regional partnerships, global initiatives, mission trips, and church-wide outreach events. 

• Work closely with location leadership, staff, volunteers, and outreach partners to plan and execute outreach events, projects, and initiatives. 

• Recruit, equip, and lead volunteer teams for outreach initiatives, including local service projects, regional outreach efforts, and domestic or international ministry trips. 

• Research and collect information about organizations, ministry needs, and outreach opportunities to ensure partnerships remain healthy, mission-aligned, and fruitful. 

• Manage outreach projects, budgets, communication, event details, and follow-up processes with excellence and accountability. 

• Domestic and international travel as needed while leading ministry volunteer teams and supporting global outreach partners. 

• Other duties as assigned.
