ABOUT LAYAN VERDE
Layan Verde is a landmark luxury residential and resort development by VillaCarte Group, designed around the philosophy of seamless integration between built form and the natural landscape. Set within a lush, verdant environment, Layan Verde reflects VillaCarte Group's commitment to timeless design, ecological sensitivity, and world-class living experiences.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Landscape Project Coordinator will play a central role in bringing the vision of Layan Verde to life—designing, developing, and overseeing all landscape elements across the project. Working under the direct guidance of the Head of Landscape, this individual will translate conceptual masterplans into detailed, buildable designs while ensuring that every outdoor space reflects the project's luxury positioning and environmental ethos.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Planning
  • Develop detailed landscape design drawings, planting plans, hardscape layouts, grading plans, and technical specifications for all areas within Layan Verde.
  • Translate high-level concept designs from the Head of Landscape into construction-ready documentation.
  • Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and material palettes for client and stakeholder reviews.
  • Ensure all designs meet project brief requirements, brand standards, and VillaCarte Group's design philosophy.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, civil engineers, MEP consultants, and other project team members to achieve integrated design outcomes.
  • Coordinate with contractors and landscape installation teams during construction, conducting regular site visits and quality inspections.
  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor method statements for landscape works.
  • Track project progress, raise design queries, and issue design clarifications in a timely manner.
  • Incorporate sustainable landscape practices including water-efficient irrigation, native and adaptive planting, and environmentally responsible material selection.
  • Support initiatives for green building ratings and ecological performance targets relevant to the project.
  • Maintain accurate design records, drawing registers, and revision logs throughout all project phases.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and bill of quantities for landscape works when required.
  • Provide regular progress updates and design reports to the Head of Landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related design discipline.
  • Professional accreditation or membership with a recognized Landscape Architecture body (e.g., TALA, ASLA, LI, IALI) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 4–7 years of professional experience in Landscape Architecture, with a portfolio demonstrating work on high-end residential, resort, or mixed-use developments.
  • Proven experience working on large-scale projects from concept through to construction completion.
  • Prior experience in Southeast Asia or tropical climate environments is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion, or equivalent design software.
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for design communication.
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of landscape construction methods, material specifications, irrigation systems, and site engineering principles.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about crafting exceptional outdoor environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey design intent clearly to multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure while maintaining high design standards.
  • A collaborative, proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced project environment.
WHAT WE OFFER

  • A collaborative, design-led culture that values creativity, sustainability, and excellence.
  • Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
