What the role is about:

The Fulfillment Specialist is a non-exempt (hourly) role that reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling all wholesale and vertical dispensary orders. This role builds and quality checks orders, creates the Metrc transfer packages and manifests that go with them, and helps keep the vault organized and inventory accurate so that orders can be picked and turned around quickly. Success is measured by virtual transfers below 0.5%, 99% order accuracy (including rejections and virtual transfers), no INOVs from DCR due to virtual transfers, and accurate inventory and par levels that allow production and sales to stay on course. This position upholds Proper Brands’ mission, vision, goals, and objectives.

What impact you’ll make:

  • Physically pack and build out wholesale and vertical dispensary orders, create shipping labels, and quality control every order (approximately 80% of time, including the next item)
  • Verify that all Metrc manifests are aligned with the purchase order
  • Print and review wholesale and vertical dispensary purchase orders (approximately 10% of time, including the next item)
  • Create Metrc transfer packages and transfer manifests for wholesale and vertical dispensary orders
  • Maintain an optimized vault layout, including moving batches between racks and moving racks around the vault (approximately 10% of time, including the next two items)
  • Assist with intake of new product into the vault
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What you’ve accomplished:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Agent ID prior to start date and throughout employment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Consistency and accuracy in the orders you build
  • Resilience and adaptability to meet tight turnaround times
  • Ability to work in a cannabis production facility with exposure to plant material, cannabis odors, and airborne particulates; PPE is required and provided, and temperature and noise levels may vary
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with no travel required
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in a fulfillment or warehouse role and 1+ years of Metrc experience
  • Preferred: Knowledge of medical cannabis law and cannabis medicinal applications
  • Preferred: Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment, effective time management and planning skills, and strong organizational skills and attention to detail
