Noninvasive Cardiologist | Department of Internal Medicine | M67683

Teaching | Engage in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows. Participate in continuing medical education programs and present at departmental conferences.

Research | To support clinical research protocols as needed.

Service | Participate in quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Clinical | Provide expert management of cardiology patients, with a focus on non-invasive cardiac imaging techniques such as echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and CT angiography.Expertise or interest in valvular heart disease is appreciated.

Other (for instance administrative duties, etc.) | Submit billing and document care as required by the organization.Abide by all medical staff requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiologist
• Sufficient research and teaching experience to be eligible for academic appointment
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
