Job Overview:
We are seeking a versatile UX Research & Conversion Specialist to join our dynamic UX/UI team. This hybrid role combines user research expertise with a sharp focus on E-commerce conversion optimization, bridging the gap between understanding user behavior and implementing actionable strategies to enhance performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and designers, to drive data-informed decisions for our global brands and E-commerce platforms.
Responsibilities:
User Research
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, surveys, heatmaps, and usability testing, to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and actionable insights to guide design and development efforts.
- Analyze Shopify Analytics and behavior flows to understand user interactions across multiple E-commerce platforms.
- Deliver comprehensive research reports to inform design and business strategies.
Conversion Optimization
- Audit user flows (e.g., product pages, checkout) and suggest improvements to enhance conversion rates and reduce cart abandonment.
- Design and implement A/B tests on layouts, CTAs, and messaging to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with branding and marketing teams to align designs with business goals, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
- Develop and implement strategies for upselling, cross-selling, and personalization within Shopify.
- Provides weekly insights on how customers engage with design elements, banners, and store UX.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with developers to ensure research findings and conversion strategies are implemented effectively.
- Collaborate with copywriters, marketing teams, and product managers to align messaging with UX goals.
- Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system, ensuring findings and improvements integrate seamlessly into components.
Analytics & Reporting
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Optimizely to track key performance indicators, including bounce rates, click-through rates, and overall conversion rates.
- Provide regular performance reports, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Marketing, or related field. Equivalent work experience is acceptable.
- 3+ years in UX research, conversion optimization, or related roles within an E-commerce environment.
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and Hotjar.
- Experience with CRO tools like Optimizely, VWO, Shoplift or Google Optimize.
- Familiarity with usability testing platforms (e.g., Shoplift, Maze).
- Basic understanding of Shopify architecture and Liquid (preferred).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Experience in E-commerce design or development, particularly within Shopify ecosystems.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of regional markets (Southeast Asia, Australia, UK or the US).
