Machine Operator (Reserve)

• 8 or 12 hour shifts

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanically related (Preferred)

• 2nd Shift - 3p to 11p (Preferred)
• Night Shift (7P to 7A) (2-2-3)

• Operate a variety of production equipment - Glass Cutting Lines and Furnaces
• Inspect & Pack (when not operating or to provide breaks)
• 5S activities
• Other duties as assigned

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be very mechanically inclined and comfortable working around and with large industrial equipment.
• Ability to lead a team and provide direction to coworkers - coach and teach.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to effectively communicate

• Ability to work the following shift: 8-12hr days Monday- Friday, Some Holidays, Weekends and Overtime as needed.
• Good attendance is important to our team at Vitro. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a history of good attendance and who welcome overtime.

• For this position, it is required to be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• There can be repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling up to 40 pounds.
