Aircraft Mechanic II

The Aircraft Mechanic II serves as a senior-level aviation maintenance professional responsible for independent troubleshooting, complex repairs, system-level diagnostics, and quality oversight. This role supports safe flight operations through advanced technical expertise and disciplined maintenance leadership.

• →Perform advanced aircraft system diagnostics and fault isolation
• →Execute complex structural and mechanical repairs
• →Lead troubleshooting efforts across multiple aircraft systems
• →Conduct functional checks and return-to-service verifications
• →Review and validate maintenance documentation for completeness and accuracy
• →Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to junior mechanics
• →Ensure compliance with technical directives and maintenance policies
• →Support Quality Assurance and safety investigations when required
• →Interface with government maintenance leadership and program stakeholders

• FAA A&P Certificate required (or documented military equivalent)
• 5+ years aviation maintenance experience
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and systems-level expertise
• Experience in high-tempo operational aviation environments
• Preferred experience working on USCG aircraft
• Strong documentation and compliance discipline
• Ability to obtain/maintain required security clearance
