The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for oversight of meal preparation following the pre-planned and approved menus, ensuring that meals served to clients are in compliance with dietary standards, meet special dietary needs, accommodate food allergies, intolerances, and food restrictions requested to follow religious, cultural, and ethnic food practices. The Food Service Coordinator is also responsible for directing the preparation of food to be served complying with all applicable state and federal sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, and following internal food production procedures. The position is responsible for complying with all applicable State and Federal sanitation regulations, food safety guidelines, food/culinary management, medical nutrition therapy dietary management, inspection readiness, personal hygiene standards, and following internal food production procedures. The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.
