As a Café Support Volunteer with Inspire Burnley, you will play an important role in helping our café run smoothly while creating a friendly, inclusive space for the people who use our services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop hospitality, communication, and customer service skills while making a real difference within your local recovery community.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Create a warm, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere for everyone attending the café.
- →Take food and drink orders and provide excellent customer service.
- →Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks and simple meals, including breakfasts.
- →Maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow health and safety procedures.
- →Work as part of a team to create a positive and inclusive environment for all visitors.
- →Maintain confidentiality and uphold Change Grow Live's values and standards at all times.
- →Valuable experience in hospitality, food preparation, and customer service.
- →The opportunity to develop confidence and communication skills.
- →Experience working as part of a supportive and inclusive team.
- →Training in health and safety, food hygiene, safeguarding, and other relevant areas.
