Responsibilities

  • →Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with operational goals.
  • →Serve as the primary HR advisor for employee relations matters.
  • →Conduct workplace investigations while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
  • →Foster positive employee relations through regular visibility and engagement at field locations.
  • →Coach managers through performance concerns, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
  • →Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
  • →Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure effective hiring strategies.
  • →Support onboarding of new employees.
  • →Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • →Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
  • →Monitor HR metrics including turnover, retention, engagement, and time-to-fill.
  • →Partner with leadership to improve employee retention and overall employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior HR Generalist or equivalent progressive HR experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or business units.
  • Experience partnering with leaders on employee relations, performance
  • Must be able to work on-site full-time at the assigned Vortex location.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25–40% to support multiple locations, conduct site visits, and partner with field leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
  •  Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigation skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.

$90,000 - $115,000, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
