Upfit Technician II Coordinator

As an Upfit Technician Coordinator​, you are tasked to work on a variety of ​different components. Activities include, but are not limited to, ​ordering parts, tracking down shipments, making sure the team has the parts that they need.

• Advanced mechanical and 12v electrical skills with welding experience 
• Truck body or equipment manufacturing repair and ability to troubleshoot / problem solve with minimal supervision 
• Capability to work off scaffolding up ten to twelve feet. 
• Must have a current driver’s license.  

• →To perform a variety of semiskilled manual duties requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment and safety precautions. 
• →To adhere to and enforce the general safety plan. 
• →May be required to do other duties as requested.
• →Primary job duty is safety of the team, the quality of the product, and the overall production goals.
• →Ensures work is performed at a quality level consistent with Wabash standard practice. 
• →Supervised by supervisor, general foreman, manager or department head. 
• →Good attendance is critical, and coordinator is required to report all absences directly to supervisor. 
• →Must be willing and able to work overtime. 
• →Work towards and for a OneWabash.  
• →Training new employees on safety and responsibilities thereof.  

• Requires minimum of 5 hours standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, with a full range of body mechanics/movements 
• Occasionally required to lift and carry up to ​50​ pounds 
• Must be able to work in an environment requiring use of stairs and climbing in and out of trucks or working in tight spaces. 
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE)
