We're looking for an experienced Loan Writer to join a collaborative financial advisory business and support its Mortgage Advisers in delivering a seamless experience for clients.

Behind every successful mortgage application is someone making sure the detail is right.

As a Loan Writer, you'll work closely with Mortgage Advisers to turn client lending requirements into accurate, well-prepared applications, managing the process through to settlement.

It's a role for someone who understands lending, enjoys working through the detail and takes pride in making the process run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and package residential lending applications for submission
  • Gather, review and manage supporting client documentation
  • Liaise with lenders, advisers and clients throughout the application process
  • Track applications, conditions and approvals through to settlement
  • Ensure lending documentation is accurate, complete and compliant
  • Provide proactive support across the Mortgage Advisers' client portfolios

Requirements

We're looking for someone who already understands the mortgage process and can confidently manage the detail behind a lending application.

  • Previous experience in loan writing, mortgage administration or residential lending
  • Strong understanding of the New Zealand mortgage and lending process
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communication with clients, advisers and lenders
  • Ability to manage multiple applications and priorities at different stages
