Records & Information Analyst

• $35 per hour
• Initial 3 months contract
• Up to 40 hours per week
• Located in Wellington

You'll join a project supporting the transfer of responsibilities between two government organisations. Working with physical records, you'll assess, categorise and document information using a structured process, helping ensure important records are managed accurately and securely. While much of the work follows clear guidance, you'll also apply sound judgement when reviewing more complex files and know when to seek advice from the project team.

• →Assess documents and allocate them to the correct category
• →Record and list information accurately and consistently
• →Escalate unusual or sensitive records when required

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Comfortable following structured processes accurately
• Reliable, professional and able to handle confidential information

You'll be joining a specialist consultancy delivering information management and digital transformation services across New Zealand's public sector. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll contribute to projects that support government organisations through complex organisational change while building valuable experience in information management and governance.
