Responsibilities

→Building backend services and APIs in C# and .NET that power AI agents, conversational assistants and automated workflows
→Connecting an in-house language model to customer, pricing and transaction data
→Helping deliver features that predict customer behaviour and remove repetitive manual work
→Using AI coding assistants daily to move faster, then checking and testing what they produce before it goes anywhere near production
→Having your code reviewed by senior developers, learning from it, and reviewing the work of others
→Working with analysts in an agile delivery stream to turn rough ideas into working software
→Taking part in the AI user group and bringing new tools and techniques back to the team

Requirements

2-4 years' commercial experience in C# and .NET
Comfortable building and consuming REST APIs, with working SQL Server knowledge
Exposure to cloud platforms, ideally Azure
Real experience using AI coding tools, and curiosity about LLM APIs and agents (side projects and hackathons count)
Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, testing, source control and agile delivery
An ambitious, quick-learning attitude and a habit of asking good questions
Able to talk through your own code and comfortable writing some live in a technical interview
No front-end skills needed, as this is a backend role
