Dispatcher / Scale Attendant

• →Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry of the transfer station.
• →Track weight information from scale to computer system and get appropriate signatures.
• →Calculate payments for customers.
• →Closing duties include balancing cash drawer, as well as reconciling the credit card machine or POS system.
• →Ensure incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material.
• →Perform accurate and timely data entry.
• →Electronically route and reroute stops as operational needs change.
• →Communicate with drivers using a two-way radio.
• →Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally.
• →Coordinate with supervisors and customers to resolve operational issues.
• →Process customer information through company systems and learn dispatch-related software and procedures.
• →Complete time sensitive tasks and meet daily operational deadlines

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Must have flexible availability to include weekends.
