Responsibilities

→Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks, heavy equipment, and fleet vehicles.
→Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
→Use computerized diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine issues.
→Conduct safety inspections and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
→Document repairs, parts usage, and labor hours using fleet maintenance software.
→Communicate repair needs and work status with drivers, technicians, and supervisors.
→Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all company and OSHA safety standards.
→Perform additional maintenance and repair duties as needed to support fleet operations.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License with a Clean Driving Record (Required)
2+ years of diesel repair experience (fleet, trucking, heavy equipment, etc.) or completion of a diesel tech program
Ability to read and interpret service manuals in English
Provide personal tools.
Welding or fabrication experience is a big plus!
