Responsibilities

→Assist with daily landfill operations including waste placement and compaction
→Support environmental monitoring and reporting activities
→Observe and help manage heavy equipment usage and maintenance
→Participate in safety meetings and compliance inspections
→Contribute to site improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects
→Help track and document operational data and performance metrics
→Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Strong interest in operations, sustainability, and field-based work
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; GIS or environmental software experience is a plus
Valid driver’s license required
