Road Service Mechanic

🔧Diesel Mechanic

• →Perform inspections, repairs, safety checks, and diagnostics on diesel vehicles, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
• →Utilize vehicle computer systems to interpret failure codes and adjust Engine and Vehicle Control Modules.
• →Respond to road calls and perform emergency roadside repairs.
• →Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
• →Accurately complete required documentation using fleet maintenance software.
• →Conduct post‑service test drives to ensure repairs meet safety and performance standards.
• →Collaborate with team members on complex repairs as needed.
• →Maintain professional and courteous communication with drivers.
• →Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA and company safety standards.
• →Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in diesel diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repair.
• Basic tool set required.
• Must Have a valid Class B CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Hydraulic experience is a plus.
• Strong skills in electrical and hydraulic systems
• Well-rounded experience in mechanical and welding repairs
