Olympic Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a reliable and motivated Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Sequim, WA.

The schedule is Monday–Friday from 9am-5pm.

The starting pay $20/hr with annual pay increases and bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
→
Moving trucks safely
→
Parking trucks safely and in an organized manner
→
Washing and organizing tires
→
Organizing Washbay equipment
→
Wash containers, trucks, and floors
→
Ensure Washbay is kept in clean and safe working condition
→
Ensure all containers coming into the shop are washed and left in a state that is representative of our service levels
→
Responsible for prioritizing work, based on communication with operations management staff, operators, mechanical staff, welders, and others to ensure that customer expectations for timely service are met
→
Report containers needing repair
→
Ensure the building is secure and locked at shift end

Requirements

Knowledge of operation of forklifts, trucks, and washers
Minimum Class 3A driver’s license with clean abstract
Ability to multi-task
Ability to learn new tasks quickly
Ability to work both in a team environment and unsupervised
Good communication skills
Physically fit
Mechanically inclined
