Imagine walking away from a remodel job knowing:

If you’re a field leader who owns execution and sets the standard in tile, keep reading — this role is built for leadership, ownership, and mastery.
Who We Are
Next Level Restoration & Remodel is an Albuquerque-based restoration and remodel company built around craftsmanship, accountability, and respect for people — and we hold those standards on every job.
We specialize in restoration and remodel work — tile, flooring, drywall, carpentry — and we are building a company where:
- quality is non-negotiable
- management stays out of the field because the field is owned
- tradespeople are trusted, paid well, and expected to perform
We do not cut corners.
We do not lower the bar.
We do not do “good enough.”
The Role
Role Title: Remodel Lead Technician (Tile Expert)
Reports To: Remodel Production Manager
Status: Full-Time, Field Role
You own remodel execution in the field. You lead the people, workflow, and daily execution of remodel projects — while also serving as the tile authority on site without constant Production Manager involvement. Your job is to make remodel projects predictable, clean, and well-run — with tile work that clearly reflects the Next Level standard.
What Success Looks Like
You are successful in this role when:
- Tile layouts, waterproofing, transitions, and finishes meet a non-negotiable standard
- Punch items are identified early and jobs close clean
- Technicians and Helpers improve because you lead, coach, and set the standard
What You’ll Do
You will:
- Lead daily field execution for assigned remodel projects, owning jobsite flow, communication, and momentum
- Serve as the on-site execution leader and representative of the Remodel Production Manager
- Own tile execution start-to-finish, including layouts, waterproofing systems, transitions, and finishes
- Enforce quality and craftsmanship standards across all trades, with authority over tile work
- Identify and resolve jobsite issues before escalation is required
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional jobsites while protecting client property
- Develop Technicians and Helpers through hands-on leadership, with focused coaching in tile execution
Who This Role Is For
This role is for someone who is:
- Authentic and Accountable – Speaks straight and owns mistakes and outcomes without excuses
- Respectful and Team Driven – Treats people, property, and tools with care and leads by example and raises the standard of others
- Intentional – Plans before acting; avoids wasted motion and catches issues before they become rework
- Empathetic – Understands and responds appropriately to the needs and emotions of clients and teammates
- Solution Oriented – Moves from problem to fix immediately and keeps standards high under pressure
- Craftsmanship Proud – Leads with visible pride in elite workmanship, especially tile
- Growth Oriented – Actively develops personal mastery and efficiency over time
Who This Is NOT For
This role is not for you if:
- You want to focus only on your own trade and not lead a jobsite
- You need constant direction or supervision
- You avoid accountability for job outcomes
- You get defensive when quality is questioned
If you want to be just another installer, this isn’t it.
