We are looking for a highly hands-on Forward Deployment Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering, product, AI, data, and business. The role focuses on taking technology from prototype to production by understanding real-world business problems, rapidly developing solutions, integrating them with enterprise systems, and deploying them into production environments.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with expertise in AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM applications, AI agents, and data engineering or analytics. You should be comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, working directly with stakeholders, and taking ownership of solutions from discovery through deployment, adoption, and scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with business and product stakeholders to understand complex, ambiguous problems and translate them into technical solutions.
• Rapidly prototype, develop, integrate, and deploy production-quality applications and AI-powered solutions.
• Own solutions end-to-end, from discovery and technical design through development, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Build applications and services using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or C#.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM applications, AI agents, and data-driven solutions.
• Design and consume REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integrations.
• Integrate applications with existing platforms, APIs, databases, data sources, and enterprise systems.
• Develop reusable services, components, frameworks, and engineering patterns that can scale across teams.
• Work across the complete engineering lifecycle, including coding, testing, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in live production environments.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Platform, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure enterprise standards are met.
• Use experimentation, data, and stakeholder feedback to validate solutions and iterate rapidly.
• Identify opportunities to apply emerging technologies, particularly AI and GenAI, to meaningful business problems.
• Build cloud-native solutions using platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Document technical solutions, implementation approaches, learnings, and reusable patterns.
• Help transition successful prototypes into scalable and maintainable production capabilities.
• Contribute to engineering standards, development practices, and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on experience building production applications.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or C#.
• Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM applications, AI agents, and/or data engineering or analytics.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of databases, data structures, system integration, and scalable application architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, containers, and modern software development practices.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is preferred.
• Strong understanding of observability, logging, monitoring, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and turning loosely defined business problems into working technical solutions.
• Ability to move quickly between discovery, prototyping, engineering, and production deployment.
• Strong customer and stakeholder orientation with the ability to work directly with senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Pragmatic engineering mindset with the ability to balance speed, scalability, reuse, and long-term maintainability.
• Strong ownership mindset focused on business outcomes and measurable impact, not only technical deliverables.
• Experience in financial services, regulated industries, enterprise transformation, DevOps/SRE, rapid prototyping, or cloud-native development would be an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
