About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function within a fully licensed digital bank. In this role, you will lead the budgeting and management reporting functions with the support of a small team. You will act as a trusted finance partner to business teams and senior management, delivering clear analysis and insights that directly influence strategic and commercial decisions.

This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires strong financial modelling capability, ability navigate complex regulatory and balance‑sheet‑driven considerations. You will work closely with Product, Marketing, Technology, and other key stakeholders to ensure growth initiatives are financially sound, sustainable, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do and what success looks like:

Financial Analysis & Management Reporting 

• Lead end-to-end preparation of the 3 year forecast model.
• Perform and present insightful scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling, planning for growth under constraints, to facilitate management decision making.
• Lead management reporting to regularly update product performance, providing an outlook of the bank’s future P&L and B/S to support management's strategic planning.

Business Partnership & Product Planning

• Evaluate growth initiatives and new product launches through robust financial modelling and investment analysis.
• Support management decision making by clearly articulating trade offs between growth, profitability, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide commercial insights and challenge assumptions to improve decision quality and shape product strategy.

Team Leadership, Data Management

• Lead and develop a team of FP&A professionals, fostering strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data across systems. 
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and insight generation.

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or management reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
• Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Strong financial modelling skills and strong Excel proficiency.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Willingness and ability to continuously evaluate and adopt modern tools and technologies that accelerate analysis, improve insight quality, and enhance decision‑making
• Knowledge or ability to learn banking capital rules and other ratios. (Understanding of balance sheet dynamics within a banking environment a plus)
• CPA and/or CFA qualification, or equivalent.
  
• Excellent communication skills at native level in both English and Chinese
