Housekeeping Supervisor

Western Camps, Inc. is a family-owned company that has been creating meaningful experiences in the Central Valley for over 60 years. From one campus in the Sierra foothills near Sequoia National Park, we run three programs:

• Wonder Valley Ranch Resort & Conference Center, hosting conferences, retreats, weddings, and special events
• Wonder Valley Outdoor Education, providing hands-on learning experiences for schools across California
• River Way Ranch Camp, one of the country's premier overnight summer camps for youth

• Experience supervising or leading a team, including assigning work, holding people to a standard, and handling issues in the moment
• Comfortable building and adjusting a schedule, and staffing to a workload that changes week to week
• Genuine pride in clean, finished work, and satisfaction in seeing a space done right
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Our housekeeping team is primarily Spanish-speaking, and this role trains, directs, and delivers safety instructions to that team
• Detail-oriented, with strong time management and problem solving skills
• Able to lead by example and build a positive team culture
• Comfortable using basic technology and property systems
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand, bend, reach, and perform cleaning duties as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and group arrival and departure days
