Lending Area Manager

You’ll lead a team of Mobile and Branch lenders across ACT, driving lending growth and supporting them to deliver outcomes for customers. Can be based in Sydney - will need to travel to ACT 2-3 days per week.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a competitive lending environment. You’ll set direction, support day-to-day performance, and build referral networks to grow your lending pipeline.

Your focus will be on:

• Leading a team of lenders to deliver personalised lending solutions
• Driving lending performance and business development activity across your region
• Building and maintaining referral partnerships to generate new business
• Coaching lenders to improve capability, consistency, and results
• Setting a clear standard for customer experience and team performance

You’ll work across the business to identify new opportunities and maintain a consistent approach to service and growth. 

You’ll bring leadership experience in lending and be comfortable leading in a performance focused environment.

• Experience leading lenders or sales teams in home lending or banking
• Strong understanding of residential lending and customer needs
• Proven ability to build and grow lending pipelines through networks and referrals
• Ability to coach and develop individuals to lift performance
• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment and delivering outcomes

You’ll also be confident building relationships, identifying opportunities in your market, and supporting your team to perform.
