Manager, Business & Wealth Assurance

This is an opportunity to step into a visible and influential role within the Business and Wealth 2nd Line Assurance team. Based in Sydney this is a full-time permanent role with flexible and hybrid working options.

You’ll perform assurance activity across business processes, products and supporting technology, helping us understand where controls are working well and where we need to uplift. You’ll assess how things operate end to end, challenge constructively, and focus on the root causes that really matter.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the first line, risk and audit, contributing insights that shape better risk outcomes and support sustainable change. The role offers broad exposure across Business lending, Transaction Banking and Private wealth and is a great way to deepen your assurance capability while building strong relationships across the organisation.

• Experience in assurance, risk, or internal audit, preferably within financial services
• Experience testing manual, automated, and technology‑enabled controls, including data and interface controls
• Strong root cause analysis capability, able to identify systemic issues beyond surface‑level findings 
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with confidence to challenge constructively
