Oklahoma City Metro, OK | Contract/1099 | One Friday or Saturday a Month | $4,000–$8,000 per Day
One dedicated surgical day a month, pre-screened and fully booked. A well-run, owner-operated private general practice in the Oklahoma City metro is adding a monthly surgical day and wants an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, or a surgically oriented Periodontist, who is current and comfortable with IV sedation, implant placement and impacted third molars. It's a clean add-on day, not a full-time associateship, and the owner will work around your calendar.
- IV sedation cases
- Dental implant placement, single-unit and multi-unit, with grafting as indicated
- Surgical extraction of impacted third molars
- Related hard-tissue procedures that fit a one-day surgical block
- Cases are pre-screened by the general dentist, so the day is scheduled, not scavenged
- Owner-operated private GP, not a DSO
- 5 operatories, 1 general dentist and 1 highly productive hygienist with assisted hygiene
- Oryx practice management software
- Vatech PaX-i3D Smart 3D imaging on site (pano plus 3D volume for implant and surgical planning)
- An established patient base with surgical demand the owner wants to keep in-house
- Turnkey/guest doctor: bring your own surgical assistant(s), equipment and supplies, and use the operatories and imaging.
- Practice-supported: the practice provides assisting staff, room and supplies.
- Hybrid: your own assistant, with the practice stocking disposables and implants.
One day a month to start, Friday or Saturday (your choice), with room to grow the day or add a second one if the book fills. No evenings and no conflict with the weekday GP schedule.
