Summary: The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Portal Specialist to support a federal human services program serving vulnerable populations, including young adults and families. This role sits at the center of case operations. It handles case triage, address verification, sponsor contact, case coordination, field operations support, travel logistics, quality review, and secure uploads to the Portal. The Data Portal Specialist makes sure each case record is accurate, complete, verified, and ready for submission, reporting, or closure. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgement, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines at once while protecting sensitive information. Location: Remote Travel: Limited travel may be required for training, meetings, surge support, or operational coverage. Duties and Responsibilities: Review incoming cases, assess priority and completeness, and route them to the right team based on program guidelines. Coordinate case activity across field operations, case research, data, reporting, quality and program leadership teams. Track case status, pending actions, deadlines, and escalate time-sensitive or high-risk cases according to established procedures. Research and verify addresses using approved tools and resources. Contact sponsors to confirm information, schedule visits, and collect required details. Document every contact attempt and outcome objectively, flag conflicting or unverifiable information for follow up. Support field teams with assignments, scheduling, routing, and pre-visit preparation. Coordinate travel bookings, itineraries, and changes in line with program travel policy. Serve as a point of contact for field staff and review field visit notes for timeliness and completeness. Enter, upload, and validate case data and documentation into the Portal and other approved secure systems. Perform batch uploads, resolve upload errors, and reconcile records across systesms and trackers so they are ready for submission, reporting or invoice support. Review case documentation, contact notes, field notes, escalation records, and closure rationale for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Identify missing documentation, duplicates, inconsistent outcomes, and supported conclusions, then coordinate corretions through resolution and maintain audit trails and correction records. Protect sensitive participant, program, and Government-related information. Participate in required training, briefings, quality review meetings, and staff meetings. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent required.Associate or bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, public administration, business administration, data management, quality management, or related field preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in data entry, quality review, case review, records review, administrative operations, human services support, case management support, compliance support, or similar work preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errrors, duplicates, missing information, and conflicting records. Ability to triage and prioritize a high volume of cases under tight deadlines. Strong phone and written communication skills, including professional contact with members of the public. Experience with address verification, records research, or coordinating travel and schedulign for field teams is highly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (sorting, filtering, data cleanup, trackers). Experience supporting federal, state, local government, human services, emergency response, disaster recovery, or field-based programs is highly preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards, and to complete required federal, client, and company trainng and background/suitability processing. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Work Environment and Schedule This position is primarily remote/or operations hub-based and requires regular use of computers, secure systems, phones, email, spreadsheets, and electronic documentation tools. The role supports deadline-driven operations and requires accuracy, confidentiality, responsiveness, and consistent communication with multiple teams.The schedule may vary based on operational needs, case volume, quality review requirements, reporting deadlines, and surge activity. Evening, weekends, holiday, extended-hour, or surge support may be required. Limited travel may be required for training, audits, meetings, or operational coverage. Federal Contract Requirements Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment screening requirements, including background checks, drug screening, motor vehicle records review, reference checks and other job-related screening requirements. Employment is also contingent upon successful completion of required federal background/suitability review, favorable credit check, security processing, and program-specific onboarding before beginning work. Employees assigned to this program must complete required training, protect sensitive information, comply with standards of conduct, maintain professional boundaries, and follow all reporting, confidentiality, privacy, and information security requirements.
