Overhead Crane Operator

Description

• →Operate overhead crane equipment to move raw materials and finished products.
• →Lift, position, and transport steel components to designated work areas.
• →Inspect loads to ensure proper rigging and secure handling prior to movement.
• →Follow established safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• →Communicate with production teams to coordinate material movement.
• →Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns.
• →Maintain awareness of surroundings to prevent accidents and damage.
• →Assist with staging materials to support production flow.
• →Keep work areas clean and organized.
• →Meet or exceed daily productivity expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous overhead crane operating experience preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Basic understanding of material handling practices.
• Ability to work in fast-paced production setting.
