Student Internship - Technology Systems

Interested in designing the technology systems that make buildings work?

Wiley|Wilson is now accepting applications for a paid summer 2027 Technology Systems internship in our Atlanta, GA office.

As a Technology Systems intern, you will work alongside experienced designers on real-world projects involving the technology infrastructure found in modern buildings. Our Technology Systems team designs physical infrastructure components for our clients data networks. This includes structured cabling (ie. Category 6A) and fiber infrastructure, pathway systems (ie. Cable tray and conduit), electronic security (ie. Access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance), as well as audiovisual systems (ie. Conference room connectivity and audio systems) for a wide variety of clients and building types.

You will gain hands-on experience with the design process, assist with system layouts and project documentation, learn Revit, and see how Technology Systems design is coordinated with architectural and engineering disciplines.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program focused on information technology, engineering, or a related technical field

• Completion of at least your second year by summer 2027

• Interest in technology systems and building design

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset

• Revit experience is preferred but not required

While we offer work-from-home flexibility, summer internships are primarily in-office experiences. The exact balance between office and remote work will be determined by you and your manager.
