• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications are an advantage.
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or equivalent role.

• Experience in a high-volume transaction, services, technology, maritime or other operationally complex environment is advantageous.

• Strong experience in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.

• Experience establishing or improving finance processes and implementing financial systems/ERP.

• Experience managing reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash flow in a transaction-intensive environment.

• Strong understanding of IFRS, statutory reporting, tax and internal control requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial information into business insights.

• Proficiency in ERP, financial reporting and business intelligence tools.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Comfortable working in a start-up, transformation or changing business environment.

• Demonstrated ability to build processes, embrace change and continuously improve ways of working.
