We have an opportunity for a CSA Engineer (Envelope) on a major data centre project in Dublin 15. This is a key role with leading a team whose focus is to ensure excellence in delivery of a dynamic project environment.

You will be a dynamic well rounded engineer with a demonstrated history on large scale projects to ensure our data centre construction projects meet specified standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities

→Develop and review façade and envelope designs using advanced CAD and BIM tools.
→Perform structural analysis to ensure envelope stability under various load conditions.
→Select appropriate envelope materials considering durability, fire safety, thermal performance, and sustainability.
→Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, standards, and environmental guidelines.

→Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to achieve integrated solutions.
→Monitor project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics related to envelope systems.
→Conduct site inspections to confirm design implementation and quality assurance.:

→Integrate energy-efficient and environmentally responsible solutions into building envelope projects.
→Evaluate and propose new materials, technologies, and construction methods to improve performance.

→Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation for client approvals and regulatory permits.
→Provide guidance to the construction team on envelope-related engineering issues.
→Participate in design reviews and project coordination meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
Professional engineering license (Chartered Engineer or equivalent) preferred.
Proven experience with structural calculations, finite element analysis, and material selection for envelopes.
3/5years of relevant experience in building envelope or façade engineering within commercial or institutional construction projects.
