Service Manager

Location: Vacaville, CA 95687 Compensation: $100,000 – $225,000/year Job Type: Full-Time

Hyundai of Vacaville, part of Wise Auto Group, is looking for a Service Manager who wants to run a real department — not just keep the lights on. We're building toward top-tier performance in this region, and we need someone who's hands-on, holds people accountable, and knows how to grow a service drive.

If you've got a track record of driving profitability, developing advisors and techs, and running a tight, efficient shop, we want to talk to you.

• Run day-to-day service department operations start to finish
• Drive labor sales, technician productivity, and profitability through disciplined process
• Coach and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, and Dispatch — day in, day out
• Own CSI, manufacturer metrics, and online reputation
• Manage scheduling, workflow, and shop capacity so nothing sits idle
• Dig into the numbers — review financials and KPIs and act on what you find
• Stay compliant with manufacturer standards, warranty requirements, OSHA, and California labor law
• Recruit, hire, train, and keep good people
• Handle escalated customer concerns personally and professionally
• Work closely with Parts and Sales so the whole store wins together

• 5+ years of dealership fixed ops management experience
• A real understanding of how a service department makes money
• Proven results — gross profit, CSI, tech efficiency, department performance
• Experience managing a full team of advisors and technicians
• Strong communicator who leads by example, not just by title
• Comfortable in a DMS (DealerTrack experience a plus)
• Valid California driver's license, clean record
