We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with leadership, accountants, and clients to deliver high-quality accounting services. The position combines hands-on accounting work, client advisory support, and review responsibilities to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Requirements
~1 min read- 3+ years of U.S. experience within an accounting firm or bookkeeping firm servicing law firm clients. (Experience working within a law firm's internal accounting department will not be considered)
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of account reconciliations and financial reporting
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Teams
- Knowledgeable with CLIO (preferable)
Responsibilities
~1 min read- → Accounting & Financial Management
- →Perform IOLTA reconciliations
- →Maintain and manage client books in QuickBooks Online
- →Review QuickBooks files for accurate coding, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transaction completeness
- → Perform accounting clean-ups and catch-up work for clients with incomplete records
- →Classify transactions and complete monthly reconciliations for bank, credit card, and liability accounts
- →Tie out payroll liabilities and payroll-related expenses
- →Manage law firm trust accounting processes in compliance with firm and regulatory requirements
- →Law firm trust accounting experience is required
