About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for an Intercompany Accountant & General Accounting Support to join our Financial Shared Services Center and international Accounting Team. In this role, you will be part of a global network across Putzbrunn (Munich), Seoul, Hong Kong, and Delaware (US), driving vital transactions between Gore group companies.
This position will be located in our facility in Putzbrunn, Munich, with the possibility of a Hybrid working arrangment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Global Intercompany Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables Invoicing for Commissions, Royalties, Shared services etc. including coordinating, preparing, and posting Intercompany journal entries
- →Generate global payment run for Intercompany related transactions
- →General accounting procedures such as accruals and deferrals, including preparing varied and numerous journal entries required at month end
- →Reconciliations of global Intercompany balances
- →Support month-, quarter- and year-end close processes as well as annual external Audit procedures
- →Taking on a proactive and collaborative approach to build an effective and stable network of different internal stakeholders for coordination of transactions, account reconciliations and follow up of outstanding items
- →As a member of the Intercompany and Accounting Team, you will look for ways to globally align, standardize and improve processes
Requirements
~2 min read- Accounting qualification (i.e., Industriekaufmann/-frau, Bürokaufmann/-frau, Fachkraft Rechnungswesen IHK)
- Relevant work experience (+3 years) in Intercompany Accounting and/or Accounts Payables/Receivables or General Accounting, preferably in an international company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, advanced Excel and experience working with ERP systems such as JD Edwards and/or SAP
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Keen to take initiatives and a team player with high service-orientation
- Well-organized with good analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Positive mindset and ability to work independently and effectively in a collaborative and international team environment
