Requirements

3+ years of veterinary assistant or related role preferred
Proficiency in the following skills:
- Safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments
- Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures
- Experience collecting patient histories and obtaining patient weights and vital signs preferred
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service

We are a four-doctor general practice that provides a variety of services to small animals in our community with a Fear Free approach. We have multiple staff members who are fear free certified and prioritize gentle patient handling. We currently operate 8am-6pm Monday-Friday, and typically have two to three doctors each day, with one performing surgery. Our purpose is to enhance people and pets’ lives, contribute to our community, and be Woodinville’s most trusted general practice. We do so by providing comprehensive services and compassionate medicine at a slower, more personalized pace. This is a good-faith estimate based on the role's requirements at the time of posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
