Truck Mechanic in transport company for different clients

• →Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections to keep trucks in good working condition.
• →Diagnose mechanical issues and electrical problems in trucks using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• →Repair or replace faulty parts, components, or systems in trucks, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering mechanisms.
• →Conduct thorough inspections of trucks to identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
• →Follow maintenance schedules and service guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and manufacturer specifications.
• →Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on each truck.
• →Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to troubleshoot complex problems and find effective solutions.
• →Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a vocational or technical training program in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Truck Mechanic or in a similar role (2-5 years), demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing and repairing trucks.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other truck components.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy parts and working in tight spaces.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for certain positions.

• Workplace: Slovenia
• Duration of contract: long-term contract - 1 year (with possibility to extend duration)
• Salary: competitive salary, according to candidates previous experience - 40 hours a week
• Overtime work: paid overtime hours as per law 
• Accommodation & meal: Provided accommodation & 1 meal/as per local labour law 
• Working hours: shift - 7 hours - 6 days a week
• Mentoring processes during the orientation period
