Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections to keep trucks in good working condition. Diagnose mechanical issues and electrical problems in trucks using diagnostic tools and equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a vocational or technical training program in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections to keep trucks in good working condition.
- →Diagnose mechanical issues and electrical problems in trucks using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- →Repair or replace faulty parts, components, or systems in trucks, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering mechanisms.
- →Conduct thorough inspections of trucks to identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
- →Follow maintenance schedules and service guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- →Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on each truck.
- →Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to troubleshoot complex problems and find effective solutions.
- →Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements

- Completion of a vocational or technical training program in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Truck Mechanic or in a similar role (2-5 years), demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing and repairing trucks.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other truck components.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy parts and working in tight spaces.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for certain positions.
- Workplace: Slovenia
- Duration of contract: long-term contract - 1 year (with possibility to extend duration)
- Salary: competitive salary, according to candidates previous experience - 40 hours a week
- Overtime work: paid overtime hours as per law
- Accommodation & meal: Provided accommodation & 1 meal/as per local labour law
- Working hours: shift - 7 hours - 6 days a week
- Mentoring processes during the orientation period
