Job Title: Master’s Manna Warehouse Assistant
Department: Office of Community Engagement
Student Employment Type: Federal Work-Study        
Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Assistant, will assist with staffing the food pantry, which will involve greeting and assisting customers with making selections, when necessary assist customers with their grocery bags and keep accurate records of customers who visit the pantry.  The Warehouse Assistant will also re-stock the pantry, keep product shelves organized and maintain a clean area.  

  • Assist with deliveries and pick-up of food and donations
  • Assist with stocking of shelves
  • Assist with regular maintenance of the facility including sweeping, mopping, trash pick-up and removal
  • Assist in the management of clothing and textile donations including transport to satellite location and sorting 
  • Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • Good interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Spanish language proficiency is beneficial, but not necessary
Hours of Position:
  • Work Hours for this position are within 8am-5pm Monday and Wednesday and/or Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am-1pm.
