Why we're hiring:
- We are hiring an Accountant Analyst to support core general accounting and reporting activities within our Finance Shared Services environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, strong controls, and timely month‑end close, while supporting continuous improvement and collaboration across Finance teams.
What you'll be doing:
- Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities in line with defined timelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of accounting entries in the ERP system.
- Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for internal and external audits.
- Support financial reporting and variance analysis, identifying unusual transactions or trends.
- Liaise with other Finance functions (PTP, OTC, Treasury, Tax) to resolve accounting issues.
- Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support ad‑hoc accounting and reporting requests as required.

- Other Finance functions, including PTP, OTC, Treasury and Tax
- Internal and external auditors
- Finance stakeholders across the business
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an accounting or RTR role within a Shared Services or corporate environment (preferred).
- Proven experience performing intercompany reconciliations.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, with exposure to Spanish GAAP and IFRS (including IFRS 16).
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Maconomy, or similar).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work under supervision, follow detailed SOPs and operate within review cycles.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
