Are you a seasoned Product Manager with a passion for marketing technology, AI, and data-driven solutions? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, innovative media agency environment? At WPP/DTA, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategic direction and continuous improvement of our cutting-edge automation and planning tools.
As our Senior Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between business strategy, user needs, and technical development. You will transform complex marketing challenges into smart, scalable product solutions that deliver measurable business results for some of the world’s biggest brands.
Responsibilities
~1 min readIn this role, you sit at the heart of our innovation. You are the owner of the product’s strategic goals and oversee the development team’s execution. You will guide our key existing products and automation solutions (such as Opticurves and our AV Planning tool) from concept to launch and through future iterations.
Your daily responsibilities include:
- →Product Backlog & Strategy: Own, prioritize, and manage the product backlog. You translate business needs and user requirements into detailed user stories to maximize the value delivered by the development team.
- →Stakeholder Management: Act as the central hub and primary liaison between business stakeholders, representing the voice of the user and clearly communicating the product's strategic importance to secure internal support.
- →Product Development: Collaborate daily with our engineering and data science teams to guide technical development, ensuring we build products that solve real-world media challenges.
- →Innovation & Roadmap: Work directly with the Product Development Director and Sr. Director Product Portfolio to align on the overall product strategy, roadmap, and commercial ROI.
You will join the Product & AI team, a dynamic group of 9 professionals (5 Product Managers and 3 Product & AI managers), reporting directly to the Sr. Director Product Portfolio. You will work in close partnership with our development team of 8 specialists, led by the Product Development Director and Innovation Development Director. Together, we foster a collaborative, tech-savvy, and forward-thinking agency culture.
To succeed in this role, you have a solid track record in managing technical products and a deep curiosity for the media landscape. Our ideal candidate profile:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or a similar Agile/Scrum role.
- Domain Knowledge: Proven experience managing media-related products, automation software, planning tools, or data analytics solutions is highly advantageous.
- Tech & Marketing Savvy: A deep curiosity for technology, AI, data-driven solutions, and the modern marketing ecosystem.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense with the ability to turn product features into commercial value and ROI.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and technical development teams.
- Language: Fluency in both English and Dutch is required.
