The Role
We're looking for a Director, Paid Social to lead full-funnel paid social strategy, execution, optimization, and measurement for a portfolio of high-growth clients. As a senior leader on the team, you'll drive strategic client partnerships, solve complex performance challenges, and collaborate closely with experts across paid search, client strategy, creative, analytics, and programmatic to deliver integrated marketing solutions that drive measurable business results.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $120,000 - $135,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.
This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.

Leading paid social strategy across a portfolio of client accounts, with responsibility for planning, execution, optimization, testing, measurement, and performance storytelling
Serving as a senior paid social partner to clients, including leading strategic conversations, performance readouts, growth planning discussions, and escalation recommendations
Developing full-funnel paid social strategies across brand awareness, consideration, ecommerce conversion, retention, creative testing, incrementality, lift studies, MMM inputs, and MER/CAC/LTV analysis
Managing six- to seven-figure monthly media budgets across fast-moving ecommerce, CPG, retail, lead generation, and/or consumer brand accounts with aggressive performance targets
Overseeing paid social execution across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, and X
Staying hands-on in advertising platforms and stepping in “on the keys” when needed to audit, troubleshoot, launch, optimize, or stabilize campaigns
Partnering with paid search, client strategy, creative, analytics, and programmatic teams to identify cross-platform growth opportunities and ensure paid social strategy is integrated into broader media planning
Translating client business goals into paid social recommendations that connect channel performance to revenue, acquisition, efficiency, retention, and long-term growth
Managing, coaching, and developing 4–6 direct reports who are individual contributors, including regular 1:1s, performance management, career development, hiring support, and client-work coaching
Providing account-specific guidance to junior team members on strategy, platform execution, analysis, communication, prioritization, and executive-ready storytelling
Helping evolve paid social best practices, QA processes, campaign workflows, reporting automation, creative testing frameworks, and AI-enabled operating models
Driving adoption of AI-enabled workflows and ad operations improvements that improve quality, consistency, speed, and scalability
Supporting new business pitches, audits, and account growth opportunities when aligned to business needs
7+ years of experience in paid media, with deep expertise in paid social strategy, buying, optimization, measurement, and client leadership
Strong hands-on experience across Meta and TikTok, with additional experience across platforms such as
Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, and/or X
Experience managing six- to seven-figure monthly paid media budgets
A background in supporting ecommerce and/or CPG brands, ideally in fast-moving environments with aggressive acquisition, revenue, efficiency, or growth goals
Full-funnel paid social experience across awareness, consideration, conversion, retention, creative testing, and measurement
Working knowledge with advanced measurement approaches such as incrementality testing, geo testing, brand lift, conversion lift, media mix modeling, and creative experimentation frameworks
Ability to lead strategic client conversations, build trusted relationships, navigate ambiguity, and make clear recommendations under pressure
History of managing and developing direct reports, including coaching, feedback, performance management, and career development
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to partner effectively with paid search, client strategy, creative, analytics, programmatic, and other media teams
Ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution, including stepping into platform work when the account or team needs it
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and storytelling skills
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to turn data into actionable strategy
Experience with Smartly, Sprinklr, or other AI-enabled advertising, automation, reporting, QA, or ad operations tools
Working knowledge of paid search and how paid social fits within broader cross-channel media planning
Proficiency in helping teams adopt AI-enabled workflows, automation, or process improvements
Familiarity across additional media channels such as programmatic, retail media, influencer, lifecycle/email, SEO, or broader media strategy
Experience contributing to new business pitches, strategic audits, or account growth planning
Prior agency experience in an AOR-style model or with integrated, cross-functional client teams
