Team Leadership & Development:
Drive hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and ongoing competency development for nursing and support staff.
Operational Excellence:
A typical day may include rounding with team members, operational planning, responding to staffing needs, addressing patient care concerns, and providing direct clinical support when necessary.
Hands-On Support:
Round daily with staff, address patient care needs, step in with direct clinical support when needed, and resolve real-time operational challenges.
Collaboration:
Partner with providers, clinical teams, and leadership to maintain high standards of care across all locations. Reports to the Practice Office and Support Manager to build a supportive and engaged clinical team.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday primarily standard clinic hours (7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.), with flexibility to adapt to operational and staffing needs.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Supervises nursing staff, including hiring/firing responsibilities, performance appraisals for subordinates, and initiating disciplinary action.
- →Coordinates patient services with physicians and staff to provide quality care in an effective manner, conducting rounds to ensure quality of patient care delivery.
- →Facilitates educational opportunities and quality improvement activities for staff to ensure compliance with medical school and regulatory guidelines.
- →Assigns/coordinates activities and duties of staff, orienting new staff, and advising administration of conditions and performance issues.
- →Provides direct patient care as needed, including development of patient care plans, administering medication, vitals, phlebotomy, monitoring IV therapies and maintaining records in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- →Promotes/maintains good public relations with patients and families, acting as liaison between other departments.
- →Provides appropriate counsel to patients/families explaining medications, procedures and teaches care to ensure continuity of care and promote health care maintenance.
- →Monitors supplies/equipment ordering/repairing as required.
Requirements
~1 min read- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, plus a minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience.
- Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location, in accordance with the Compact Act.
- Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).
