About the Role

Peak Health is a new, growing Medicare Advantage plan in West Virginia. The Community Outreach Representative is the trusted member in the field representing Peak Health within our communities. The Community Outreach Representative (COR) will build trusting relationships, be a resource for Peak Health Medicare programs, create lead opportunities that gain successful acquisition/retention outcomes and ensure locations are being scheduled to meet monthly goals. As a key member of our Medicare team, the COR will play a crucial role within the community along with partnerships both internally and externally. They will be responsible for helping to establish the relationships and results that drives our growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong relationship building skill along with key contacts within the WV area already established specifically around Medicare. Additionally, the candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy with scheduling events and will have a roll-up their sleeves mentality around our opportunity within the community for both sales, retention, and education. We are growing fast and ready to service our West Virginia residents. And we have just begun. So, join us on this mission to Peak!

Requirements

1. Associate's degree in healthcare, business, marketing or related field AND Two (2) years of experience related to Medicare Advantage

1. WV State Health Insurance License in good standing

High School Diploma or equivalent AND Four (4) years of experience related to Medicare Advantage

2. Valid Driver’s License.

1. Two (2) years in a Medicare Experience (Both Medicare Advantage and DSNP) space working with strong relationships with the Medicare industry to include but not limited to community partners, gatekeepers, provider relationships and key influencers within the community.  

2. DSNP (Dual Special Needs) experience

1. Strategic thinking and attention to detail around relationships, sales & retention

2. Strong Teamwork ethics with internal team along with agent force in field

3. Knowledge of regulations governing Medicare Advantage and DSNP sales

4. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.

5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of the Medicare Advantage sales process Experience working with a CRM system.

7. Strong attention to detail, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous process improvements.

8. Extremely fast learner can pick up new content quickly and has knowledge of the Medicare industry and with DSNP population.  

remote for day to day but heavy travel role (may ask to come into the office once a month or once a quarter dependent on travel)

  • will support NORTHERN region (Morgantown, Fairmont, etc.)
