Dental Assistant

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. Successful completion of a dental assisting or surgical assisting program OR one year of dental assisting or surgical assisting experience will substitute for completion of dental/surgical assisting education program

1. Certificate in Dental Assisting.

1. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of applicable highly specialized patient care protocols

2. Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced highly specialized patient care environment

3. Demonstrated ability to provide safe, high-quality patient care services

4. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize job duties

5. Demonstrated ability for effective independent decision making

6. Demonstrated ability to manage high stress, complex patient care situation

7. Demonstrated ability to effectively adapt to changes in the workplace

8. Demonstrated ability to adhere to policies, protocols, and applicable regulations
