The Cardiovascular Technologist/Interventional Extern is a temporary position for students that provide support for the delivery of a full range of medical imaging and/or interventional procedures, performing a variety of technical and patient care related duties enhancing the effective and efficient delivery of services under direct supervision.

Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Currently enrolled in an Accredited Radiology School.

3. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

1. Ability to multi-task in a busy setting.

2. Ability to interact with patients, families, and members of the Health Care team.

3. Ability to prioritize and deal with a variety of situations simultaneously.

4. Knowledge of Radiology information systems.
